You know that song from Fiddler on the Roof? "Mess-maker, mess-maker, make me a mess..." Well, those are the lyrics in my head anyway. I'm really hoping that we are reaching the pinnacle of his Terrible Twos because I don't know how much more cleaning product I can afford.
Usually, I'm too angry to snap a picture of the mess but I did catch a couple.
This is when he got into my mascara. I don't know what he's more upset about: the fact that he's in trouble or that terrible haircut:
I gave him a yogurt and left him unsupervised to eat it (there were also yogurt hand-prints all over our couch and Xan's Cookie Monster puppet had a few bites as well):
Pen markings on his canvas bins:
Took a crayon to the top of his toy chest:
We've had countless bottles of water dumped onto the carpet, toys, books and my keyboard. Xan emptied a tube of toothpaste on the carpet in our room and a bottle of mouthwash in our bed. He got into a bag of dirty diapers and tracked poop all over our living room. Lotions, liquid soaps and sunscreens have all made appearances on our couches.
To make up for the messes, I get to embarrass him with this picture:
Our little smilin' lady:
And a couple of videos:
As I've sat here typing this post, I realized I haven't heard Xander for a while. Off to see what I get to clean up next...

A grown-up sheep that strayed away
From the ninety and nine in the fold...
